Why are the automatics more expensive?
Due to vehicle production costs and gas prices in Europe, manufacturers generally make more manual transmission 4-cylinder cars that are more gas-efficient and chepaer to manufacture in general. Since automatics are less common, they are more expensive to buy, therefore more expensive to rent.
